Cartridge replacement for Canon MP210

Hello,
I have had my MP210 printer for over a year now, and this is the first time I've encountered a real problem: I replaced the empty color ink cartridge with a new one, but the printer still indicates that the cartridge needs to be replaced. I have removed and reinserted it several times, but nothing changes; the ink error message still appears.

    Hello, I'm back with the procedure that worked very well with my MP140 printer, I think it should work too.

    1: Disconnect the 220V from the printer.
    2: Press and hold the power button (far right) and reconnect the 220V.
    3: Without releasing the power button, press the reset button (red circle and triangle) twice.
    4: Release the power button. The printer takes 10 seconds to start and displays 0. If not, start over from the beginning.
    5: Press the + button to change from 0 to 1.
    6: When 1 displays, press the COLOR button (green diamond) once: 2 lights will turn on: normal paper and photo paper. Load paper into the tray.
    7: Briefly press the POWER button twice and the MP140 will print some stripes and graphics. If it doesn't print, press the COLOR or RESET button once (it depends on the machines) and the page will print, likely indicating what’s wrong but it’s not important. Nevertheless, the page must print!
    8: The display returns to 0.
    9: Open the cover entirely to see the inside of the printer and the cartridges. Remove the cartridges. While leaving it open, disconnect the 220V.
    10: Close the cover and reconnect the power.
    11: Fill the cartridges if not already done.
    12: Reopen and reinstall the cartridges in the carriage that hasn’t moved. Close and start by pressing POWER.
    13: In the driver properties, check that the MP140 indicates that the cartridges are full.
    There you go, it works!

    Hello, for your printer you must have used generic cartridges, so there's a manipulation to do. I'm looking for it and I'll get back to you with the information.
