Hello everyone,
I am currently writing a text in Writer and I don't know why, suddenly when I type new characters in a sentence, the following ones get deleted.
In fact, the new characters are replacing the old ones.
I know it's a trivial issue, probably due to some misstep on my part, but I can't find any solutions...
Thanks in advance for your help!!
see you later

Hi,
This often happens to me!!! I only know one solution that works. Make sure to save your text, close Open Office, and when you reopen it, the letters won’t disappear as you type.
It has to do with corrections... but I don't know more than that :)

I oppose violence because when it seems to produce good,
the good that results is only temporary, while the harm done is permanent.

>These are bugs
Thank you for stopping the nonsense.
This is because you are in Replace mode and not Insert mode. Look in help F1 to see what I’m talking about.

<signature>Why hack MS-Office when there is a free solution?
Use OpenOffice.org</signature>

Listen, give the solution!
I tell him how to fix it for now. When I have a job to do, and it happens to me, I do it like this. It was to help, and if you have the solution, give it to him instead of criticizing others.
Because I don't understand your bug explanation! OooOOoooOO
Have a good evening

The Kesan problem is solved.....and thanks also for the information Oooforum! :)
Because now I too will know what to do, rather than closing and reopening my text!
