How to charge a laptop via USB?

Hello,
I would like to know if it is possible to power a laptop through a USB port
I mean, instead of using the plug on the laptop, I connect the adapter (charger) to a USB port on the laptop
Some time ago, I had an issue with the socket on the laptop (HP Pavilion zv 5000); the adapter plug didn't fit well into the female socket on the laptop (the one attached to the motherboard), but it was not getting power. I repaired it and it worked for 3 weeks, then the same problem happened again
So I'm wondering if I can power my laptop through a USB port (feed power through the USB port) to avoid having the same issue again
ThanksConfiguration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

Nothing on the laptop recognizes the USBs as "electricity in" but only as "out," except on recent Macs with USB-C, so no, you won't be able to...

EDIT: However, there are external batteries that can charge laptops: https://www.amazon.fr/MAXOAK-50000mAh-capacit%C3%A9-Batterie-ordinateur/dp/B00YP823NA

Ok, thanks qwerty for your reply (very quick, thank you very much)
But manufacturers should think about this, it's very practical, I find that only one universal charger for all phones is simple, but I think their financial interest doesn't align with that
Thanks again

Indeed, what's more, what a space saver, we would have 8 sockets for the same size as one current one!
But indeed their financial interest lies elsewhere, even if some are trying USB products.
