Yahoo Mail and its notepad that’s going to close?

Hello

I use Yahoo Mail and I received an email from them informing me: "Yahoo Mail's Notes feature will stop on January 15, 2027. Until that date, you will be able to access your notes and download them. After this date, the Notes feature and all saved notes will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered."

My problem is the following: I don't know where their Notes are located in the directory structure, I don't see it. In Yahoo on the left side I have: Inbox

Drafts

Sent

Scheduled

Archived

Spam

Trash

FOLDERS.

But no Notes.

Could you please help me, because I wrote to Yahoo, but they haven't replied.

    Hello,

    The Lord keeps me from ever using Yahoo Mail, but even if we do, Notepad is an auxiliary note editor independent of the mail, which no one is forcing you to use or worry about.

      Ah okay, actually it’s like on a PC when you open Notepad with a keyboard shortcut.

      So I don’t worry about this future closure because I don’t use that function.

      By the way, what is it actually used for on a PC or on Yahoo Mail?

        No idea, I also have this in my email software along with other gadgets like a task planner, and I don’t use either of them.

        People usually use either nothing at all or a desk notepad utility and a calendar planner synchronized with the phone, like Google Calendar.

        I use the latter in a homeopathic dose, and for the first point I ultimately prefer paper and pencil.
