Hello,
I would like to know what is the maximum length of an RJ11 cable without data loss?
Thank you in advance!

Is the communication interface between the weather station and the sensor a serial interface of the RS232C type? In this case, the length of the cable depends on the data transmission speed.
Above are the values:
Speed (bps)-----------------------------Length (m)
19200--------------------------------------------15
9600--------------------------------------------150
4800--------------------------------------------300
2400--------------------------------------------914

I think you're talking about RJ45 Ethernet wiring
(RJ11 is used for telephony/modem, etc.)
For RJ45 computer wiring, the maximum link length according to EIA (US) and EN standards is 90 meters, plus 5 meters of flexible connecting cable on each side.
Basically, in private use, you can set up your installation over 90 meters without encountering any problems.

On the site: http://www.lacrossetechnology.fr/
You need to click on "see details".
Data transmitted by 433 MHz or via wired connection with the base
Transmission distance via 433 MHz: 100 meters (in open field)
Transmission distance via cable: 10 meters (with the possibility of adding a cable of up to 10 meters)
If it's RS232, it's possible to use industrial converters
=> http://www.lextronic.fr/R1198-boitiers-tcpip--rs232.html
You need to see if it's possible to connect 2 converters with a crosslinked ethernet cable (limited to 95m) or a wifi connection.
I have used the EZL-200F through a WIFI bridge, but that was to control a light panel (so with a PC and software). You also need to plan for a 220V power supply or power through the ethernet cable (POE adapters).
Be careful, to consult the PDF documentation on the EZL, you need an English/Korean version of the PDF reader.
If the cable is limited to 20m, it may be that the speed is quite high...
But all of this involves a lot of ifs...
Best regards,

Hello,
Are you sure you want to talk about the RJ11 cable for the telephone or the RJ45 cable for Ethernet?

I don't understand everything...
But I finally installed the station with a radio connection (433MHz), but unfortunately, the connection isn't working, the base and its sensors are too far apart.
How can I extend this connection distance (100 m)?
Is there a "repeater" sold by La Cross Technology?

But the cable connecting the sensors to the base is not RS232, it's RJ11.
And I am asking if, for example, if the radio connection is blocked by a wall or window, how to adapt an antenna outside.
Maybe wrapping a wire around the base would do the trick; I've been told that it can help the connection.
