Hello,
I am in Réunion and I have just subscribed to Médiaserv after 4 years with Orange. I hope I haven't made a mistake, your reactions already worry me.
I can't configure OUTLOOK to retrieve my messages from my new Médiaserv mailbox. What should I do? I don't know what else to try, I've entered all the settings but nothing works.
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
concerning your Outlook message, if you're unable to send or receive messages, you just need to disable the firewall of the mediaserv by going to the configuration interface of the box (192.168.1.1).
See you!-
Hello everyone,
I've been with mediaserv for a week now and I've just configured Outlook Express to receive messages from my Yahoo and Gmail mailboxes. I struggled a bit, but it works well both ways now. However, regarding speed, I'm lagging behind; for a 20Mbps max subscription, I'm barely getting 512. -

Hello Manou,
You need to correctly enter the POP and SMTP addresses.
You also need to delete all the other addresses you have.
Here they are :-
pop-pop.mediaserv.net
smtp-smtp.mediaserv.net
And waiting.... -
I also encounter the same problem. If you have the solution, I'd like to give it a try.

I'm with Médiaserv,
they're as incompetent as Only, you'll never resolve your email issue, in the end you can receive your emails, but every month you'll be unable to send emails, there's nothing to be done, and on top of that they'll try to explain that it's your fault... Either you use webmail, or you go to another provider, there's no other choice
Sorry
Disabling your box's firewall will indeed temporarily fix your problem, but it will come back. -
Hello
A simple test can determine where the problem lies.
Just try to check your email on the Mediaserv website. You will see that access is only possible occasionally, so it’s not surprising that your own email software cannot access it. -
Here is a link that explains how to do it, and it works without any problems
