Hello,

I just installed Call of Duty 2 that I just purchased. I also installed version 1.3 of the patch for compatibility with Vista. However, my problem is as follows: I launch the game in solo mode, so far everything is going well, I load a new game and when it finishes loading, the game starts but I have a white screen, characters are talking but I can't see the image!

I hope someone can help me.

    You probably have an incompatible GPU driver or need an update for DirectX.

    I don't really know what a GPU driver is, and my DirectX is version 9!! Could you tell me how to fix that?

    Yes, so to start you need to download the latest drivers for your graphics card from the internet, install them, and then restart the game...

    Did you include in the graphic options menu the stuff "trilinear, bilinear," etc...?

    Ah well now, since I reinstalled the drivers for my graphics card, the game won't even launch anymore! :-(

    The game is working fine. I found the trick on the forum; it was a problem with DirectX 9 that wasn't compatible, so I installed version 7 and it worked!
