Reinstalling Vista without CD Solved

Question

Hello,
Here is my problem, I bought an HP brand PC without the Vista reinstallation CD and I would like to reinstall it by formatting my PC. In short, restore it to new condition and I don't know how to do this without a CD. There is a disk called recovery but I don't know how to use it, which is why I'm posting this topic.

At the moment of turning on the computer, press alt and f9 or f10 and it will directly restart the installation from the partition. The same procedure can be used for several brands like Dell, HP, Compaq, Acer, for those I know.
You need to press both keys simultaneously.

Start > All Programs > Tools and Help > System Reinstallation for HP PCs

Indeed, on Acer computers at least, pressing ctrl+alt+f10 during startup allows you to reinstall the original configuration, even without having the original DVD; I just tested it!! However, you must not have emptied the original hard drive beforehand.
And be aware that everything on the partition that contained the previous Windows will be formatted... consider yourselves warned!!!

Hello, my hard drive is divided into 2 partitions:

one for Vista, the programs, and everything related to the PC itself, and the other one contains my documents, music, movies, and images.

If I press ALT F10, will only the partition with Vista installed on it be reset to its original state?
Or will both partitions be erased?

it's me again in ALL the systems there's an application that I know doesn't reinstall my issues that can solve most problems it's called   SYSTEM RESTORE!!!!   you go to start > accessories > system tools > System Restore   it's not more complicated well of course it has to be enabled so to enable it you right-click on the computer or my computer icon on the desktop you go to properties under Vista and Seven you go to change settings then in system protection and you check that it's enabled!!!
