Hello,

This morning, my neighbor entrusted me with her laptop so that I can install the update KB5034848.

That said, she mentioned that she dropped her laptop the day before and accidentally pressed some keys on the keyboard.

The verdict is clear:

You have entered an incorrect PIN multiple times. To try again, enter A1B1C3 below.

Since this has happened before, I type A1B1C3 in the verification phrase box.

As A1B1C3 is in uppercase, I activate the Num Lock key on the touchpad.

And I typed the numbers using the top keypad, and not the right touchpad.

After a visual check, I pressed the Enter key on the keyboard.

I could have clicked on the arrow with the pad to continue.

At the last step, the PIN is requested (which is the PIN code and not the Microsoft account password).

I keep the Num Lock key on the touchpad activated because my neighbor has numbers in her PIN code.

I clicked on the eye to visualize her PIN code to verify that it is correct.

Which was indeed the case.

Finally, on the Desktop.

And afterwards, I performed the requested update.
