Basic Wireless Headphones for TV

Hello,
I'm looking for a wireless headset for two televisions equipped with a headphone jack, but without wifi or Bluetooth.
The current one, a Philips SHC 5200/10, is no longer working.
However, a wired headset works.
Max 50 euros
Thank you

Hello
"The current Philips shc 5200/10 is not working anymore."
The batteries may be dead; have you tried replacing them with new rechargeable batteries? The same model is available on Amazon

Small completely. Is it possible to install a key that allows for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to have a wider choice of headphones?

Hello,
My wife changed the batteries; following your message, I checked and, unfortunately, it seems she put in non-rechargeable 1.5V LR03 batteries. Is it possible that it got damaged because of that?

You need to use rechargeable Ni-Mh 2 AAA 1.5v batteries. I can find some, but they are 1.2v.
Apparently, we narrowly escaped a major disaster.

The 1.2v ones are indeed the most common... and should work anyway
But there are 1.5v ones, most of the time they are lithium-ion (check Amazon for example).
For me, I don't think it makes much difference

Hello,
At Philips, they assured me that the headset would be damaged according to their technician with 1.2V and that I absolutely need to use 1.5V, which they are unable to tell me where to find apart from a link they sent where they say they no longer sell this type of item.
I found this at a low price, which avoids making a big purchase if the headset is already broken.

Otherwise, any ideas on these two other options?
Buy another headset that works with 1.2V batteries? Which one?
Connecting a USB (wifi or bluetooth) key to my TV, which has neither wifi nor bluetooth, is that possible and consequently using a wifi or bluetooth headset?
Around 100 € max
Thank you and have a good week

I am quite surprised, on Amazon we find the SHC 5200/10 headset sold with a pack of 4 AAA NIMH 700mAh batteries (Philips reference R03B4A70/10) which are 1.2v.

Hello,
However, at Philips, when you go to the technical sheet on the site, it clearly states 1.5v, and that's what their technician told me to find. It's incomprehensible, unless they've made some modifications.

I will send them a message to see what they say about this contradiction with the Amazon link. We'll see.

Hello,
I confirm that Philips says no to 1.2v, only 1.5v, but they are unable to tell me where to find that.
I tried using 1.2v, it doesn't charge, probably the headset is damaged.
For the Amazon listing, they say they are not responsible for what the seller offers in batteries, namely 1.2v.
All I have left is to find another one that is less demanding in terms of rechargeable batteries.
See you!

All the more surprising that Phillips makes 1.2v batteries and would equip their device with batteries from a competitor. In the headset manual, they also provide a Philips reference SBC-HB700L.
This reference no longer resonates online; there’s only a SBC-HB 700S which is 1.2V.
I just found an image of the SBC-HB700S.
Notably, on 1 cm near the negative pole, the metal is visible; this could explain your remark: "I tried to use 1.2v batteries, it doesn't charge, the headset is probably dead."
Indeed, if your batteries are like most, with plastic covering the bottom, contact may not be made.
Where do the contacts on your headset connect? On the bottom or around the edge?
If around the edge, use a cutter to trim about 1cm and remove the plastic from the bottom of the batteries, then replace the batteries.
Good evening,
I hadn't seen this response. I'll check with my repair café about testing the headset to see if it's fried; if not, we'll try this solution.
Note that Philips has released another model that seems to work with 1.2v, surprising, right?
I just bought a Sony headset with easily replaceable batteries, a MDR-RF895RK.
My wife will have it for Christmas.
Thanks, baladur13
