Good evening!

My title may not be very clear so I'll explain in more detail

A few days ago I ordered books on Amazon, they took longer than usual to be delivered (which is normal because of July 14th and the Tour de France)

Today I received my packages, except there was only half of them, whereas according to the postal website they say that they all arrived at the delivery site. When I returned to the site, I saw that it was written "unfortunately your package cannot be delivered it will be delivered as soon as possible"

I don't understand why only two were delivered while they were clearly all at the post office for delivery. Could someone explain to me?

    If you have 2 packages, they are not necessarily in the same container between the sorting center and the distribution office.
    If the truck has reached the maximum weight and the container with your package cannot be loaded, it leaves with the next one... the next day!
    There are also trucks that break down and not all packages can be taken..

    Now, it's weird because in Paris, there are specific Amazon delivery drivers.. and plus they are geolocalized.. we can track their arrival!

      yes, this kind of thing happens quite regularly.

      One of the reasons is that you may have had some books that were in stock at one warehouse, while others were coming from a different warehouse.

      I’ve encountered that before.

      The main thing is that everything gets sorted out quickly.
