Call or receive calls impossible

Hello,
My wife and I have the same phone purchased on the same day. An OPPO 53S. We are with the same operator, Free, and we have the same plan. My phone works without any problems. My wife is unable to use her phone either for incoming or outgoing calls; the call doesn't go through or the conversations are so 'choppy' that there is no other option than to hang up.
Do you think it could be a setting issue?

Hello.
Put your SIM card in your wife's phone and check if it's the same or not; if it works with your SIM card, it's your wife's SIM card that has a problem, check this with Free.
If it's the same with your SIM card and you think it's a setting that is incorrectly configured, reset her phone to its default settings, note I've said default settings, do not confuse with a factory reset.
If it's still the same, the phone is the issue, check this with customer service.
