Oppo A94 no USB connection
SolvedAnonymous user -
Hello,
I have retrieved an Oppo A94 from my daughter.
I want to transfer my photos to a Lenovo Windows 11 phone via USB cable. The computer detects something, but a sound signal is emitted by the PC every second.
On the mobile, I set it to transfer and file mode, and I have tried with two different cables.
In the device manager of the PC, there are two cases regarding the mobile device: either the mobile does not appear, but an error window tells me that the Oppo A94 has been disconnected, which happens with every beep.
Or an Oppo is recognized but does not function correctly. I deleted the driver when one was indicated, but installing a new driver fails.
I also manually installed the USB MTF driver without further results by searching for the USB MTF driver when adding a new device.
Regarding the USB port, I have removed the power management settings for energy saving.
My daughter tells me it worked on her PC with Windows 10.
I also tried with my other PC running Windows 7, and the same issue: no recognition.
USB keys or external USB drives work on both machines.
I found software on the Oppo site to install the driver, and it’s not any better.
My solution is to back up to Google Drive and download the photos or use a Bluetooth connection, which is slower but works.
So does anyone have an idea about this problem? For me, the USB connection with the Oppo is unstable; it keeps connecting and disconnecting.
THANK YOU

The problem may be caused by a fault in your USB port on your Oppo A94, a defective USB cable, or an issue with the drivers. You've already tried several solutions like using different USB cables and manually installing the MTP USB driver, which are usually the first steps to take when there are USB connection issues.
If the problem persists, try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Try connecting your Oppo A94 to another computer to see if the problem persists.
2. Try enabling USB debugging on your Oppo A94. You can do this by going to your phone's settings, then "About phone," tap on "Build number" seven times to enable "Developer options." Then in the developer options, you can enable "USB debugging."
3. Update Windows 11. Sometimes, recent updates to the operating system can cause problems with USB connections, and an update might resolve the issue.
4. Try resetting the network settings on your Oppo A94. This can resolve connectivity issues, including USB connection issues.
If none of these solutions work, I recommend contacting Oppo support to see if they can provide a solution to your problem.
