Bird UM 1 no sound

Hello everyone,

I recently bought a Bird UM1 on Amazon, I plugged it in and set it up on my stand. From the very first test, there was no sound; I've never been able to get any sound at all. I've looked through dozens of forums for people with the same issues, but nothing works.

For your information, I'm on Windows 10, all my drivers are up to date, and my Windows is up to date.

The microphone is connected via USB, so I checked my USB drivers and there's no problem. I tried installing drivers for the microphone, but none of those solutions worked for me.

Does anyone have any ideas? I really don't want to return it because I've been waiting for it for a long time.

    Since it doesn't work, return this item to Amazon and request a refund.

      I was thinking of doing this but I wanted to see if someone had an idea to solve my problem. I think I'm going to do that.

    Hello,

    You didn't specify if the microphone is visible in the list of microphones in Windows.

    Have you also tried on another computer? On a smartphone with a USB adapter?

    If it's a desktop computer, you should try plugging it into a port on the back of the computer.

      The microphone is indeed recognized by Windows, I also tried plugging it into a USB port at the back as well as the front, I tried connecting it to another computer but nothing changes.

        Right-click on the audio icon, select "Sound," and you will access the old audio interface management. In the recording tab, if you make noise, do you see the microphone moving?
