How to retrieve Chronopost package after refusal?

A delivery person came to deliver a package to me this morning (31/01).

However, there were €30 in undeclared customs fees.

Unable to pay them at the time, I refused the package thinking it would be dropped off at a post office.

But the package is now marked as "returning to sender."

Is there any way to cancel the return to sender and retrieve the package?

PS: (I am awaiting a response from Chronopost's customer service regarding this).

    Hello.

    Since you rejected the package, it has been returned to the sender, which is normal since you refused it. You should have requested its holding at a Chronopost pickup point, as it arrived this morning. Contact Chronopost to ask them to hold your package at a pickup point. Don't wait, because if you wait too long, it will be too late to retrieve the package.
