USB drive that resets to zero in the car

Hello,
Since I bought a new car (Citroen C4 Cactus), when my USB key is read at startup, it always goes back to the same first song from the first folder. I have about 4000 tracks in flac format, and on my other car (an old 106), the music would resume where I left off. (I tested it, and it works fine, so the problem doesn't come from the USB key).
It's worth noting that if I turn off the engine and put the key back in after a few minutes, the music resumes where I left off, but if I restart the car after a longer time, the problem returns.
This forces me every day to manually switch back to random mode and listen to the same song for a few dozen seconds, which becomes quite annoying...
I haven't found a solution online yet, so if anyone has any ideas or has already had the same problem, I'm all ears.
Thank you

Hello
Just a thought, if it resumes correctly after a few minutes but not after a long period, either it's a bug on their end, no solution except a system update, or there's a bad connection causing the console to lose power after a certain time and losing all settings. I tend to think it's the first case, but a long time ago I had this type of problem with Citroen where they installed the radio incorrectly.
Just in case, updates are available through My Citroen, with your chassis number, a USB key, and patience for both downloading and installing on the car (with the engine running). I do it myself regularly.
Best regards
Hello,
Thank you, I will try this first method that I didn't know about tomorrow, hoping that the problem comes from the update, and I will keep you updated as soon as there is new information.
Have a good evening
Hello,
Unfortunately, this solution does not work on my vehicle.
I tried directly through the Citroen website with this link https://www.citroen.fr/acheter/mise-a-jour-gps-citroen.html but they then offered me paid options, and I'm not sure that this is related to my issue.
I contacted Citroen directly, and a qualified person should call me back soon.
In any case, if you have other solutions, I am always interested.
Sincerely
Apparently, your system is not an integration from Citroen (factory) given the message.
In that case, there is no solution except indeed a story of faulty electrical wiring.
For those who might have the same problem one day, I used much less music; I couldn't say how many are required at most, but in any case, the problem was resolved this way.
So in conclusion, the car radio of the 106 is more powerful than that of the Citroën.
Hello
According to car radios, there is indeed a limit on the number of files that can be placed on a USB stick.
Other issues may also arise depending on the format of the different audio files.
