Hello, this TV doesn't seem to be Android or Google TV, so I don't think you can add applications beyond the ones already installed; still to be confirmed.
If you have an Android box, you can install them on the box, which will allow you to view them on the TV.
Otherwise, maybe a Fire Stick could do the trick, also worth considering.

How to install Google Play Store on an LG Smart TV?
If Google Play Store is not available in the LG Content Store, it is possible to bypass the problem by directly installing an apk file, the installation extension for Android applications.

Thank you for your reply, but someone told me that it was possible by downloading the Play Store apk onto a USB stick, and then transferring it to the TV.

I was rather thinking of the Stick Fire (HDMI key) where you could put your Play Store.
