Forgot the PIN code for my LG TV

    LG (the procedure concerns LG WebOS 1.x TVs):
    Turn on the TV
    Navigate through the menus "Settings" => "Adjustment" => "Advanced" => "Security"
    Click on the "Reset PIN code" function
    Enter a random code and when the error message appears, press successively the buttons "CH +", "CH +", "CH -", "CH +"
    Enter the code "0", "3", "1", "3"
    The new usable PIN code is now "1", "2", "3", "4".
    p.s. if you change it to your "taste" again, don't forget to put it somewhere, or more simply stick it on the back of the TV)

      It doesn’t work, I tried. I think the version is too recent for it to work (I’m on version 4.05.50).
