Printer only scans in BMP

Hello

The HP4500 printer scanner no longer gives the option for file format as it used to, but automatically scans in BMP format.

Have to convert to JPG

How can I scan in JPG format?

    HP 4500 printer

    Before, when I scanned, options were offered to me: PDF JPG

    indicated

    "Others," it seems to me that before I had other choices than others

    Desktop like before but no longer offers dropdowns for formats.

    Scans well email I have to convert the BMP file to JPG afterwards.

    Not a big deal but long and the problem occurred overnight even though no changes were made to the PC or printer.

    check your drivers

    right-click on the Windows square at the bottom left

    then device manager

    find your scanner and check if your drivers are up to date

    we're not all geniuses but we're working on it

    Thank you again,

    I have already checked everything you pointed out to me.

    So, I worked around the problem and installed Scan Window. Perfect, much easier than using the printer and faster.
