Hello,
I've been having big issues for a while now; the HP 2700 series printer is only recognized as a scanner on my PC (Windows 10 x64). I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, but it says drivers not found in the printer and scanner menu.
Scanning works fine, and the HP Smart software recognizes the printer since it shows the ink level, but still no printing. I'm losing hope...
Thank you for your help.

Hello
the printer is recognized by Windows, which is normal, and for the ink levels, since the printer must be able to operate even when the PC is turned off, this probably explains that
but I think that the complete driver software hasn't been installed, or not correctly
for example, the printer MUST NOT be connected to the USB during installation, it is precisely this installation that will prompt you to connect to the USB at the right moment-
Hello,
Actually, I initially installed the printer through the menu where you have to click on a + to add a printer.
Windows detected it without any issues since it's a network printer, but the print driver was not taken into account.
I then installed the printer (uninstallation was done beforehand) via the USB cable, and even then, Windows did not detect or install the printer function.
I think it might be a Windows update issue or a driver issue.
