Hello and thank you for your help,
I hope to manage to define what is happening and I must have done something without realizing it. All the windows I open are bigger than my screen, but when I click on the top, I can access the bar with the internet tabs for example. When I click to maximize, it disappears. Here are 2 photos to illustrate my points, as I'm not sure I'm being very clear :) Thank you! Céline

Configuration: Windows / Opera 84.0.4316.21

When did the problem occur?
Otherwise, try a system restore to a point before the problem, if there is a restore point...

I tried something, I opened my tracker (for poker), same thing, the top of the window was too high, I resized it and closed it not with the cross but from the menu then quit. Upon reopening, it opened at the same size I gave it. Is there a function to do this automatically by default for everything?
for Discord it's okay, uninstall and reinstall and it will work, it's more this story about the windows being too high especially since I do streaming and it bothers me a lot because I have the streaming software open, the chat, my poker tables and it handicaps me quite a bit, plus the animated show lol
Maybe :
See : folder options, display
if :
"Restore open folder windows at the next logon"
Check or not

Gentlemen, I’m starting to have too many tables, Sunday is a full day^^ I will check your responses tomorrow
And will it not delete the stored data? I mean, all the player notes I might have or everything I've put in the streaming software. Will I have to redo everything or will it keep the images and videos that I've put in it? Thank you so much, Céline

Hello,
With your software that is used for display on another screen, you may have messed up.
And reversed the main screen.
You can press Windows + P and select Duplicate or Extend
Or look for a setting if there is one in your "spacedesk" software.
And if this comes from your software or a mistake, the system restore won't have helped because you chose a restore point afterwards, but maybe you didn't have one before or you picked the most recent one.
This happened to me once; I had to unplug the HDMI cable and then turn off the PC, and upon restart, everything returned to normal.
I considered tablet mode, but no.
It's just another avenue to explore.
See you later,

Hello Pistouri,
I think like you, it was just a bad manipulation at one point. The thing is, I did it right before the streaming and so I handled it as best as I could at the moment, but I agree with you, it's just a matter of manipulation. Our computers and their capabilities are stronger than we are and there aren't even any user manuals anymore because of all the possibilities. It's just a mix-up but you really have to know our operating systems well to fix this. Good idea with the windows+p but that wasn't it, I have only one screen.
The "physical" thing that changed is that I have a blue strip at the edge of the browser and I had never noticed it before, is that a clue? I wanted to take a photo to illustrate this blue strip and it disappears when I click to take the photo lol Thanks for your help.

Hello,
Post a screenshot of your Desktop.
At the top of the browser?
In which browser?
Is this blue band present in all browsers?
Check your screen resolution.
No, not with the Windows settings (Settings--►System--►Display) or right-click --►Display settings
But right-click on the Desktop and click on the line for your graphics card manager (for example AMD, or Nvidia control panel)
Set the screen resolution to default (recommended).
Take this opportunity to check if you have an update for your graphics card.
Go to My Drivers
Download or save Mes_Drivers_3.0.4.exe
Check --► Show only drivers newer than the installed ones
Check --► Show only WHQL certified drivers
Uncheck --► Also show beta drivers
Click on --► Validate.
See if you have a driver to update.
Look for the green highlight, it will indicate a new version.
If you have one, download it and install it.
It will uninstall your old driver version to install the new one.
Provide your current version of Windows 10.
Keyboard shortcut Windows + R
Type --► winver
Then OK
Note your version in your next message.
Example:
You may not be up to date. (Windows Update).
If desired, there is a software to adjust the display --► Advanced System Font Changer
But do not use it.
I would suggest trying to uninstall ''spacedesk'' and then reinstall it.
But have you looked for display options in this software?
As a precaution, create a restore point manually.
Because I saw this:
Source
So do this --►simply uninstall the virtual display driver (In the Splashtop Wired XDisplay Agent window)
If you have a screen, reset the default settings or select the ''Auto'' button.
If you cannot do this, go seek a restore point before the installation of ''spacedesk''
Provided that there is a valid one. (before January 15, 2022).

Because I saw this:
Warning!
Update the NVIDIA graphics driver to version 461.09 (release date: 2021.1.7) before using it with spacedesk!
Older NVIDIA graphics drivers could crash Windows 10 PCs with BSOD (blue screen of death).
Important
The virtual display driver for Splashtop Wired XDisplay must be uninstalled (this is an old incompatible WDDM Filter Hook driver that cannot coexist with other similar products like spacedesk even if it doesn’t seem to use this old driver anymore).
In the Splashtop Wired XDisplay Agent window -> Advanced, simply uninstall the virtual display driver.

The space you see between the Opera browser and the top of your screen in your screenshot (the blue line) suggests that the scaling is not correct, and apparently you have the same issue with all windows, regardless of the applications.
spacedesk
Check the result if you disable it (OFF).
Source
Where to disable it at startup:
If you see it in the task manager, it's the Startup tab.
Right-click on the taskbar to bring it up.
And should you uninstall ''spacedesk''?
And restart the PC.
This if you see it from the device manager:
What is the name of your graphics card?
Right-click on the Desktop, you will see the line above display settings.
I think you have a desktop PC (we don't see the battery icon or it's in the hidden icons).
Hence the default setting to reset.

If that's the case, try this procedure:
This is indeed a problem with recent versions of Office that causes display issues in other software (but it works fine).
Step 1:
Disable display optimization when using multiple screens in all Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint...)
- Go to File/Options/General/User Interface Options
- Set "Optimize for compatibility" instead of "Optimize for best appearance" then OK
- Perform this action on all Office software
- Restart the PC
Step 2:
Normally, the problem is resolved, but the technician also disabled hardware acceleration
- Go to File/Options/Advanced Options/Display
- Check "Disable hardware graphical acceleration" then OK
- Perform this action on all Office software
- Restart the PC

Run Malwarebytes
At the end of the scan, if any elements are found, the PC will restart.
Also check the Tablet mode
And Change theme
And allow themes to change the Desktop icons
See you later

Pistouri, the voices of computing are impenetrable, everything has returned to normal, amen...
I understand nothing, but that's just fine with me lol Thank you for everything! We have a good handle on many elements without uninstalling and reinstalling Windows 10, which seemed excessive to me. Best regards, Céline

Hello,
Well, what a twist!!!
--► everything has returned to normal.
It's as if a guardian angel was watching over your PC :-)
I missed church this Sunday to help a neighbor with an administrative procedure (ID card expired for 3 years, on the government Ants site where you need to create an account before filling out a pre-application form to print).
I intervened to help you find a possible culprit; there were no shortage of ideas.
In order not to reinstall or reset Windows, some contributors on forums don't put in much effort to dig deeper, and it's pretty standard for them to suggest that.
I still had ideas to propose to you, but we'll leave it there.
Don't forget to manually create a restore point right away.
Windows Update does that from time to time, but take the initiative for precaution.
Hoping that the problem won't come back and that it stays behind you like a distant memory.
Have a good end of the weekend.
