Hello everyone, I'm reaching out to you today because I'm experiencing a recurring problem since I changed my GPU. I'm using a Benq XL2411Z screen (144Hz). My previous graphics card was a GTX 970, and the 144Hz worked perfectly. I recently invested in an RTX 3060, and to my surprise, the NVIDIA control panel only offers me 60Hz. I've also reinstalled the latest driver for my GPU, and I'm connected via DisplayPort with a DVI-DL adapter on the screen side, since the Benq 2411Z doesn't have a DisplayPort. Thank you in advance if you can help me.

Hello
DisplayPort with a DVI-DL adapter on the screen side
The connection needs to be native on both sides, so no adapter, either in DisplayPort or HDMI.

Hello,
To have true 144 Hz, you need a DisplayPort cable, but I think you can get 144 Hz with HDMI too, if I'm not mistaken.
Check on the Windows side, because if Windows detects you at 60 Hz, Nvidia will be at 60 Hz as well.
> On the Windows home screen > right click > display settings > advanced display settings > down left > refresh rate > choose your refresh rate that Windows offers you 144 Hz if possible.
If it works, Nvidia should also be at 144 Hz; otherwise, check what Nvidia offers you in resolution. -
The RTX 3060 is equipped with HDMI 2.1. It should therefore display 144MHz over HDMI without any problem. You may be limited by the cable, which may not be able to carry the full HDMI 2.1 bandwidth, or by the HDMI version of the screen, which is older.
