Package ready at the sender for 1 week

Hello,

It has been a week since my package (iPhone XR) has been marked as "Package ready at the sender."
The seller told me that Chronopost received the package yesterday morning (or noon) and today it is still showing "Package ready at the sender," and when I asked Chronopost, they say they don't have the package.

I wanted to know if this is normal or not..?

The package has not yet been handed over to Chronopost, check that with Amazon.

That's what I told myself, knowing that when I called the seller yesterday, he told me that it should be updated last night, and still nothing... I contacted Amazon, and they confirmed the seller's information.

I wonder if it's Chronopost that's messing up, or if the seller is lying...

Anyway, if you don't receive your package, Amazon will refund you without any problem. Go to your Amazon account and then to your orders to make a claim.
It's important to know that some Amazon sellers are in China and send packages from China; these packages are only handed over to Chronopost upon their arrival in France or in an EU country.

Yes, Amazon told me that if I don't receive the package by Thursday, they will refund me.

But still, I would like to know where the glitch or whatever comes from..

Just to let you know, I have already received my package in the mailbox while Chronopost indicated that it had not been picked up yet, so it might also be a glitch with the postal service.
Otherwise, as already mentioned, Amazon will refund if a claim is made.

If it's Chronopost, it's the delivery person, so it will be in the mailbox or handed over in person with a signature.

I think it’s a signature since it’s an iPhone, but after that, I have no idea at all.

I think it's best to wait at least until Thursday as specified by Amazon, and if nothing happens by then, to contact them again.

No.

One of the two parties must be lying.
If the package was really delivered yesterday, there should normally have been an update today on the tracking to indicate that the package has been taken in charge by the carrier at their facilities.
