Hello,
I ordered a product from Japan via the Buyee website. The product was shipped on 29/06.
As indicated in the title of the discussion, according to the package tracking on the Japan Post website, it has been in "retention" since 08/07.
What is strange is that the tracking on La Poste has still not been updated (according to La Poste, the package hasn’t even arrived in France).
After doing some research, in most cases, the term "retention" meant that the package could not be delivered to the recipient and that it was deposited in a nearby La Poste office close to the recipient's home. I visited the two nearest offices to my home on 10/07 and unfortunately, the package was not there.
I think my package must be at customs, but I have no way to verify it. Has anyone experienced a similar situation?
