Thank you for your responses. I've just done the math: a printer that cost €49.90 at purchase, cartridges exclusively used in Canon at very high prices (€35 per pair). I prefer to limit expenses, transport, and repairs and to leave it at that. Too bad for the cartridges that were recently installed; I'm convinced that a remote intervention was feasible to reset the concerned counter.
It’s certain, there will be no more Canon at my place; their policy of planned obsolescence is more than disgusting and dishonest, while they constantly encourage you to repair. I will return to HP as I did a few years ago.
Best wishes to you and thank you

Hello and best wishes to you too...

The error 5B02 on Canon printers indicates that the waste ink counter needs to be reset, but unfortunately, this can't be done for your printer model ► See this link
You might want to try using the Service Tool V3400, the link for which is on the same page, or ► Here and unfortunately your printer model is not listed... but you can still try it... as for the result???

The solution would be to find an authorized Canon repairer and request a quote...
In principle, it shouldn't be expensive and can be done quickly, but if done by a tradesman, it might be a different story??

Catch you later for your upcoming comments.... But if none >> Resolved

    Hello ....

Thank you for the feedback ..
In my opinion, you made the right decision because the cost of the repair is probably equivalent to that of a printer of the same type!
We can reset some Canon printers, but yours is not on the list... in my opinion, because of its low price?
Personally, I banned Canon and Epson a long time ago (which are sitting in my garage) and switched back to Brother about 6 years ago, and I've had no issues since ..
I mark this topic as resolved
Have a great day and A+
