Hello,
I am using Word 365 and I would like to do a split view side by side (1 fraction on the left, 1 fraction on the right) and not on top of each other (1 fraction on top, 1 fraction on the bottom).
I do not see the button that allows me to switch the split view differently.
Thank you.

In Word, all versions, the splitting is done only horizontally.
In Word 2013, you must:
- Go to VIEW / New Window
- then go to VIEW / Arrange All
- then go to VIEW / View Side by Side
- then go to VIEW / Window / Reset Window Position

I am not familiar with "DISPLAY / New window". I can indeed have the same file open twice and place the two windows side by side. It's confusing, but apparently changes in one window appear in the other.
It's a pity they didn't think of vertical splitting, though!
