Hello

I would like to connect to my company's PPTP VPN via my iPhone 6 (using shared connection). It's not working (error 619 during the login).
However, I have no problem browsing the internet.

Thank you for your help.

It's good, I found the reason
Actually, iPhones do not allow the L2TP protocol, you have to go through the SSL protocol which uses port 443.
My version on my proxy does not allow to set up a VPN using the SSL protocol (firmware version too old).
So I need to update my firmware.

Thank you for the info,
However, once again, I notice that Apple is interfering in matters that don't concern them, to the detriment of data transparency. I remind you that this is a shared connection.
That the ISP blocks it could be understandable, but Apple, really...

Hi.

Finally someone who might be able to help me...
I have a private server that I want to connect to via VPN with my HP laptop running Windows 10... from outside while sharing my iPhone 7's connection...

After several attempts, neither iPhone 6 nor 7 or switching telephone operators has allowed me to connect.

Except with mobiles other than iPhone...

I didn't quite understand your SSL solution, could you please clarify?

Thanks in advance.

A SSL VPN is OpenVPN for example, the most widely used.
