Hello,
I have a big question; a red dot with "Rec" written on it appears in the top left corner of my computer screen.
Can someone explain to me what it corresponds to and how to remove it?
Thank you in advance.

Hi! Normally, by hovering over the scrolling counter, you can stop the recording of your screen!
In fact, by pressing the "windows" + "G" keys, it starts the recording of your screen!

Nothing to do... your shortcut is for recording via Xbox... I'm still looking for the shortcut to get rid of the rec in the top left... which only disappears when I reboot the PC... which is really annoying actually.

It seems that this comes from a Lenovo Nerve Center service (I assume you have this type of device). After searching on the internet, here is one of the methods found to remove it:
Press the Windows key + R
A "Run" window opens.
Type services.msc
Find "gamerecorderSVC"
Double click
Press "Stop"
In "Startup type," check "Disabled"
There you go :)
Have a nice day -
