Send a private message without being friends

Hello, I created a new Facebook account, but when I try to message someone, they don't receive the message. I tested it with my account; they receive the friend request but not the private message. So if the person doesn't accept my friend request, they don't receive the messages...
I would like to get some information because with my main account, when I send a message, the person receives it.

Thanks for your help, and PS: I'm not trying to harass anyone, just playing a joke on some acquaintances, and it's all in good fun.

    Hello

    Of course he receives them. But when you’re not friends, they go into the filtered messages box, not the inbox.

        Because he accepted your message sent... The first time.

        Now either he saw that he has filtered messages and didn't approve them to go to the inbox (so you can't see if he received it or not)

        Or he didn't see it.

        WARNING: filtered messages are only visible on the desktop version.
