Hello,

For more than a week now, one of my three hard drives has become invisible in the file manager and in Disk Management. However, I can see it in the BIOS; I can also see it when I connect it via USB, but I cannot access it.

What can I do to regain access to this drive?

Thank you in advance, best regards.

    Hello,

Other than an expensive trip to the cleanroom, not much in my opinion

    Cheers

    Hello,

In this case, it is highly probable that this hard drive is defective.

In this context, it is very likely that the only option is to entrust it to a company specialized in data recovery, but the price for data recovery is exorbitant. For your information, this type of company always offers a preliminary quote, so then it is up to you to decide what you want to do next.

Have you done the test under Linux without installation, of course?
