    Hi,

    that’s not a VPN, it’s a firewall (remote).

    But well, you can find it plenty in commercial products; is it that you have trouble finding the technical documentation?

    It’s a bit normal—they’re a bit stingy as long as you’re not a client, and even after, they don’t necessarily detail their technical references.

    Personally, I use a VPS that I administer myself, on which I install a VPN server (WireGuard); it’s fairly easy and I can put a iptables firewall on it as I need.

    Commercial VPNs are rarely flexible enough.

    And there you go, there you go, voila ....

    But heavens, how tedious the line spacing is!!

    you don’t have the knack for tinkering,

    a little easy research gives me this:

    especially for Proton which provides good documentation without being a client:

    Beyond that, it can be automated, notably on macOS via nat-pmp replaced on newer IPv6-to-IPv4 gateways by PCP.

    But hey, if you have a public IPv6 of your VPN on your VPN client, you don’t need port forwarding.

    And there you go, there you go, voilà ....

    But alas, how painful line spacing is !!
