Can you tell if someone has read your message on Messenger?

Hello,
I'd like to know if it's possible on Messenger to see whether the person to whom we sent a message has read it or not.
Because when I click on one of the messages they sent me, it says "Seen".
So, can we tell if the person we are communicating with has seen our message (a bit like on Facebook)?

    Hi,

    You need to go to the Messenger app settings and enable read receipts.

    You'll probably find it in advanced settings.
