Hello,
I just moved from Word 2010 to Word 2016 and when I create bulleted lists, it adds an extra line when I want to go to the next line. I've looked into it, set line spacing to single, removed spacing between paragraphs of the same style, and set it as default, but it still jumps every time and I can't remember the trick...
If anyone could help me :)
Thanks in advance.

Hello Ciliae,
For bullet and numbered lists, Word remembers your previous action and applies it automatically to the next bullet or number thinking it’s making your life easier...
This "behavior" is not linked to version 2016. It’s an option that was probably disabled in your 2010 version. You can check it as follows:
- Tab [File] | "Options" | "Proofing" (on the left)
- Button [AutoCorrect Options...] (on the right)
- Tab [While typing]
- Disable "Automatic bullet lists" in the "Apply" section
Word should obey you now ;-)
However, Argitxu's suggestion will allow you to achieve something more professional than using the [Enter] key to space your paragraphs.

Hello Ciliae,
Go to your bullet point line and do this:
Home tab, Paragraph group, you can see just to the right of
this word a small square: it’s a “dialog box launcher.”
Click on it => “Paragraph” window; check the Spacing
“Before:” and the Spacing “After:” ; set it to 0 if needed.
If your problem is solved, please go to the top of the page
to click on “Mark as resolved.”
Best regards. 😊

Hello, unfortunately no, that's the first thing I did. In fact, when I create a bullet list, everything goes well, each bullet stays just below the other without a line break, but once I've finished my list I want to add a space between each bullet.
I do it, the space between the first two bullets creates another bullet that I delete, but when I want to do the same thing between the other bullets, I get a double line break.
I'm not sure if what I'm saying is clear...
Thanks for the response anyway :)

Good evening
You need to use the bullet lists from the 'Paragraph' toolbar and modify the style of those lists
Go to the Home tab / Styles group, click on the arrow at the bottom of the group to open the styles pane
If you hover the cursor over a bullet paragraph, the styles pane will automatically select the 'list paragraph' style.
Right-click on this style / modify / Format / Paragraph: there, adjust the spacing after and uncheck 'don't add space between paragraphs of the same style'. OK
It should be better ;-)
