Hello,

For about 2 months, suddenly, we have been experiencing the following issue: callers trying to reach us on our landline (Livebox Sagem) are being sent directly and automatically to our Orange voicemail. We haven't changed any settings, whether on the phone or with Orange. We have set 30 seconds (which is 6 rings) on the phone and 4 rings with Orange. Strangely, the problem has not been permanent but recurrent. I have tried everything, but to no avail, including with 3 Orange advisors who were notably incompetent on the subject. Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards.

    Hi

Did Orange make you perform a factory reset of the box? (not just a simple restart)

      Hello,
They offered it to me, but since I had already rebooted my Livebox and checked all the settings, I declined. Thank you. Best regards.

It's still the first thing to do..
Liveboxes are notorious for strange phenomena resolved by a factory reset against all logic.

Everyone has their opinion, but I don't share this approach except in cases of serious bugs or crashes. This solution is not only time-consuming but also risky. It is a "quick fix" for ISPs because it requires no research on their part and involves little time spent. Thank you anyway.

As you say, everyone has their opinion... and their experience.
