Good evening everyone,

I’m reaching out to you because I’ve noticed the following problem shortly after upgrading from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10:

Since I usually put my laptop to sleep when I go to bed, for the past two nights, I have noticed that it wakes up by itself every night at exactly 3:14 AM. The processor starts running like crazy, and of course, it wakes me up and becomes quite annoying, especially since it won’t help reduce my electricity bills! So I’m forced to get up to put my computer back to sleep every night at the same time.

I want to add that this issue did not occur when I was using Windows 8.1 and it started right after upgrading to Windows 10.
I also want to mention that in the properties of my network card, under the "Power Management" section, the box "Allow this device to wake the computer" was automatically unchecked, knowing that I never touch these types of settings.

Thank you in advance and have a good night,
Lucas

Problem solved!
Here's how to resolve the issue step by step on Windows 10: Go to Settings > System > Power & Sleep > Additional power settings > Change when the computer sleeps > Change advanced power settings > Expand the "Sleep" category > Expand the "Allow wake timers" category > In "On battery", the option "Important: Wake timers only" is selected by default, select "Disable" and confirm the changes.

Hoping this helps some. Thanks anyway for your help, Cesel45 :)

After trying everything, including disabling the sleep output of all devices, my computer continued to wake up by itself after a few minutes. Only disabling "allow timers to wake the computer" solved the problem. A big thank you.

Hello

You must have a scheduled update.
At that time, look in the task manager.

Thank you for your response. Should I only check the running processes in the task manager when it wakes up from sleep?
