    Hello,

    There is data corruption somewhere.

On a corrupted or counterfeit micro SD card?

    1. Hello,

I had the same symptoms on my old Samsung Galaxy which is too old, the latest update on it was in 2016, and since I transferred to a newer Samsung, the photos open correctly (and the zoom as well…).

If you use an SD card, see below!

Indeed, as pointed out by fabul (whom I greet by the way…), there may be corruption either at the photo level itself (corrupted file…) or also a problem with the SD card; it’s possible that it is corrupted or defective.

Have you tried restarting your phone as a first step?

If you have the possibility, try to view them on a PC!

      1. Hello,
        1) My software is up to date
        2) I don’t see "Optimize now"
        I’ll check the SD card

        1. My software is up to date
I had the same symptoms on my old Samsung Galaxy too old, last update on that one in 2016 and since I moved to a newer Samsung, photos open correctly (and zoom too…).

That was just a guess, knowing that you didn't bother to indicate the exact model reference of the phone in question and moreover, and it turns out we are not here on the forum with a crystal ball!

          Description of the problem

When a user posts a message about their problem, they usually know the context. Yet forum users can only help him if they know which software it is, which operating system, possibly the hardware involved.

It is therefore essential to describe the issue as completely as possible by specifying the software environment and possibly the hardware.

          @MPMP10

          Hello MPMP10 :)

Or a corrupted cache problem? I don’t know Android systems well.

          Have a good evening.

           Or a corrupted cache issue?

Maybe so, to be seen, as I suggested in my reply.

          For @Guy72,

It would also be good to restart the phone in question to clear the RAM, as a first step.

          Have a good evening.

      2. 1) I deleted everything from my phone (backed up on my PC)
        2) I changed the SD card
        To be seen.....

        1. Hello

I put another SD card that I formatted (so empty).
I put it in my mobile, and on this card, I find myself with 14 folders.
          Why?
