Hello,
I have a Livebox and I bought a Devolo dLAN 500 WiFi single adapter to easily access Wi-Fi in all the rooms of the house.
I'm not very skilled with computers, but I followed the instructions and the connection is not established...
I plugged in the device, my computer recognizes it, I enter the Wi-Fi key but it doesn't work. I tried using the Ethernet cable, but that doesn't work either; when I did, the dLAN indicator kept flashing and my computer was unable to detect it.
Do you have any solutions?
Best regards.

re,
Please check first that the Wi-Fi is on with the router and that you are properly connecting to the Wi-Fi when you are 2 meters away. Otherwise, it means the Wi-Fi on the PC is not functioning or not activated.
Here is the manual for your device. https://www.devolo.fr/fileadmin/Web-Content/DE/Products/dLAN_500_WiFi_Powerline/Documents/CH_fr/devolo_dLAN_500_WiFi_0914_fr_online.pdf
For it to work, you need two devices, one connected by cable behind your BOX and the other connected to your PC, a few rooms away; both must be plugged into a power outlet...
Attention: the Ethernet connection between the two Devolo units is done through the electrical current in the house... if you go outside the perimeter, it won't work anymore... if you go too far or use a lot of extension cords, it won't work either...
This device is quite demanding regarding the quality of electrical installations; it must be plugged in as close to the wall socket as possible and does not handle power strips well, and even less so with stacked power strips... so be careful with that.
The ideal is to start by placing the two Devolo units in the same room, near the router.
On page 24 and the following pages, there are explanations about your model...
The lights change color depending on their meaning, and you also need to distinguish between slow and fast blinking... So in your question, you are missing the color and the speed of the blinking; but you have the answer in the manual I mentioned.
The same goes for pressing the buttons; there are long presses of 3 seconds and short, very brief ones...
So be careful with all of that..

I have read it carefully and I have come to the conclusion that you first need to plug in a device that allows you to extend the Wi-Fi through the electrical network, and then plug in adapters, am I right?
Because I only have a simple adapter... I previously bought a repeater and it didn’t require plugging in a device beforehand though :/
