Hello, I have a computer that displays "SSL connection error" when I try to perform a search. However, this issue only occurs on the child's account on this computer; Google Chrome works perfectly on the administrator account. Furthermore, I cannot update Google Chrome; when I click on "About," a message appears: "Update failed (error: 4) An error occurred while checking for the update: failed to start update check."
This computer is using Windows 8.

I am therefore writing this message from a second computer.

However, I have done some research beforehand: the date and time are set correctly, and I have also performed several cleanups using Malware Bytes, Adwcleaner, Adsfix, and Ccleaner. Nothing has worked.

Do you have any suggestions for me? Thank you in advance!

    I don't think so.
Too many damaged things, no more system restore.

I think we need to reinstall Windows.
