Reactivate audio service

Hello,
I've posted this topic elsewhere but without success.
After reinstalling Vista, I no longer have sound on my laptop.
Everything is fine in the device manager, the sound "card" is indeed active.
The only problem is that the "Audio service is not running."
I found it in the list of services, but when I try to start it, the process stops and responds:

"Windows could not start the Windows Audio service on Local Computer.
Error 1079: The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process."

Could someone explain this to me?

Thanks in advance.
Configuration: Windows Vista Internet Explorer 7.0

I was able to activate the Windows Vista Audio service by starting in run\services the following services:

- Remote Procedure Call (RPC)
- Windows Audio Endpoint Builder
- Multimedia Class Scheduler

Thanks to everyone and long live science.
