Computer stuck at boot menu on startup page

Hello, at startup my computer is stuck on the boot menu page, Windows Boot Manager. I took a photo but I can’t figure out how to send it.

    Hello,

    If you have no more actions possible at the Boot menu level, this indicates a hardware problem with your PC and most likely a failing hard drive.

    First, unplug everything that is connected to your PC and then your hard drive to see the source of the hardware problem.

    Thank you for your reply, I don’t have anything physically connected to the computer and I don’t know how to unplug the hard drive.

      Hello,

      There is no evidence that it is necessarily the disk that is damaged (or poorly connected); outside of that, there can be new "hardware" causes (RAM changes or incompatible new drivers) or a corruption of the boot sector.

      The only way to be sure is to boot from an installation USB key and try to reinstall Windows on itself with data preservation if possible, or otherwise from scratch (formatting); the hardware cause can then only be invoked if there is a failure.

      We’re then stuck unless we can access recovery options by forcing them (here in 4) and which, if necessary, allow Windows to be repaired or to search for a restore point if one exists. Some “brand” PCs (for example HP) include, if you haven’t removed it, a factory restore to the original state (you lose programs and data) via a function key tapped at startup (F11 in the HP example). Otherwise you have to create this famous USB key on another PC (a key from 8 to 32 GB), which has everything at hand except if the PC predates Windows 10 where you also need to find the ISO on Malekal and boot from it. Bien sûr, you don’t solve hardware problems, but this avoids paying a repairer for it; if there is a hardware problem, you’re less likely to escape.

    Hello,

    When you say you are stuck on the Boot Menu page:

    1: Have you had an error message? in which case it is a software error and what was said previously applies,

    2: Does the Alt + Ctrl + Del key combination produce an action? If not, your problem is hardware and most likely comes from your hard drive, a case I have already encountered several times.

    Hello, the hard drive is dead, but I was able to recover the data (at least, a computer technician friend did)
