Chromium & Flash Player: no longer supported?

Hello,

I am using Chromium (portable install) and I can't get Flash Player to work again since the update from v42 to v43.
I tried reinstalling both the ActiveX and NPAPI versions of Flash Player, but nothing works: the plugin no longer appears in the list of plugins (chrome://plugins) in Chromium.

According to Google's documentation, the section of the installation procedure dedicated to Chromium states that you just need to install the plugin separately (like for Firefox) and restart, but it doesn't work, neither with version 16 nor with version 17 of Flash Player. Nothing from what is mentioned here can help me with my problem either.

Do you have any idea?
Thanks in advance!

Configuration: Windows 7 / Chromium 43.0.2335.0

Found! It seems that a different version of Flash Player specific to Opera and Chromium is now required: PPAPI (with NPAPI seemingly only for Firefox).

So this is where you need to choose (on the left): https://get.adobe.com/fr/flashplayer/otherversions/

So everything works for me; cool! :)

I had already done this but it doesn't work, whenever I go to SoundCloud for example, it says Flash is not installed, and when I go to the link to download it, I get this message "Note: Adobe Flash Player is already installed but it is disabled. Click here for more information." To enable it, I went to the plugins and it is not displayed. It's really a real headache for a few days now... :(

Even after uninstalling and reinstalling Flash Player, is Chromium completely closed?
After that, I made sure that Chromium was up to date before doing anything (build 2335).

Listen, that damn Flash Player is driving me crazy! I just uninstalled Flash Player using this, and it's still installed!!
Maybe it's because of my version of Chromium, I saw that you have a different one from mine, can you tell me where you downloaded it please?

The only (compiled) version supported by the Chromium(.org) team is available for download here: https://download-chromium.appspot.com/

To update regularly, it’s done manually by overwriting the old files with the new ones. Everything is well preserved, but I still make a backup of the folder before the operation, just in case...

After 3 or 4 updates done this way, I have never lost anything and never had any particular malfunction (I do have my fair share of extensions).
