Issue with videos not going into "true" fullscreen

Hello, I come here in my greatest dismay, let me explain, for about a month now my Google Chrome browser has been acting up (in fact, it's not just my browser but all of them that are doing the same thing) when I watch a video on YouTube, Twitch, or Dailymotion and I go full screen, it happens that 1 time out of 2 the full screen is restricted to the window of my browser, which is annoying and prevents me from properly watching my video, so I am asking for your help to solve my problem. Thank you

    Thank you in advance for your response, but I was already aware of this technique through other forums and it works very well. The thing is, I would like to avoid having to press F11 every time to toggle full-screen video, especially since a month ago I had no such problems and everything was working perfectly. I am therefore looking for a way to restore my old "configuration."
    PS: I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling Chrome.

    Hi,
    If you press F11, it will make the browser full screen, so that might solve the problem.
