Hello, I'm on Windows 11. This morning, I clicked on the Google Chrome icon located on the left side of my desktop. It said shortcut and the page was blank. To access my La Poste email, I had to click on the Google icon located at the bottom of my homepage in the taskbar. This afternoon, I wanted to try again, but the Google Chrome shortcut icon had disappeared from the desktop. I looked in the settings and tried to restore the Google Chrome icon to the left on the desktop following the instructions, but it was impossible. How can I get it back? Thank you for your help.

    Good evening,

    Try resetting it instead.

You can download it via another browser like Edge, for example.

Download ResetBrowser for free for PC - CCM

Precaution: Backup Firefox and Chrome Bookmarks

Although the favorites are preserved, it’s always better for security to have a copy.

    Hello,

If the problem persists despite a reset:
Reinstall Google Chrome with the offline version --> Google Chrome
