Hello
I'm posting this message for those who might be able to help me:
I felt compelled to uninstall Google Chrome because of "Default search.net," which was annoying me, but when I tried to reinstall it: SURPRISE! Google Chrome refuses to reinstall due to (I quote) "installation failed due to an 'unspecified' error" (otherwise it would be too easy) "If Google Chrome is running, please close it and try again" (even though it is already uninstalled) BUT it still appears in my default search engine settings. I've already been on different forums, but they haven't managed to help me... Please help me, I'm begging you, Google Chrome is the only search engine I'm comfortable with and I don't particularly want to buy a new computer
Thank you in advance for any responses you can give me

Re,
Try this anyway:
Download to your Desktop ResetBrowser
Launch it.
Click on OK.
Click on the button corresponding to Google Chrome.
Wait for the operation to complete.
When everything is finished, close the tool.
Sincerely
