Uh... Your initial question is indeed "How to use the spoiler function in a forum?"
If that's the case, when you write your message on a phpBB (or similar) forum, you may have already noticed that for example when you use the button to make characters bold, the tags [b] and [/b] are inserted on either side of the text you selected to make bold. For the spoiler, it's the same, when you click the spoiler button (after selecting the text to hide), the tags [spoiler] and [/spoiler] are inserted on either side of the text to be hidden.
Another example, in the case of this forum, the tags are different and fewer, but the principle is the same. When you want to make text bold, tags are inserted on either side of the text to be made bold.

This term is generally well known to users of phpBB forums and similar ones. It refers to a BBCode that effectively hides text in a message simply by using the same color for the characters as for the background. The text only appears when you select the message content with the mouse.
However, in order to use this function, it must of course be integrated into the forum.

you just have to do this
[spoiler] you write your sentence and close it the same way except that you add / after the first bracket
good luck
