Ciel Compta Evolution 9.0 Invalid Module ID Error

Hello,

I noticed this morning that I can no longer do anything in my accounting software.
I have no support and my software refuses to load my accounting elements with the error message "error: invalid module ID".
I tried calling support, and they told me it was related to Avast but that they couldn't help further.
I uninstalled Avast, but it didn't change anything!
Ciel is offering me a quote with support (they don't provide ad-hoc assistance), but the amount they requested has really put us off.
Does anyone have a solution???

Why don't you call in a computer scientist?

I contacted them but was told they also go through Ciel because it is specific.

Contact an independent contractor (I am one) and I can assure you that he will be able to solve your problem (if he is competent).

Hello Docsteph, is there a lead to explore to guide us (antivirus, etc.)? I have a friend who encountered this error and is calling me for help, so if you can give him a hand, he would appreciate it.

I had the same problem this morning and like you, I called Ciel only to hear the same response. I am using Windows 7, I went to "Control Panel", "Programs and Features", then right-clicked on Ciel Compta and finally selected "Repair".
    Everything went back to normal.

Hello everyone, as far as we're concerned, Avast is the source of the problem since this morning.
I asked Avast to declare the file lbr.dll as a false positive this morning; I have 2 ongoing support tickets but not much life at Avast.

You can open a ticket: https://support.avast.com/Tickets/Submit/&cls01&ptf01&lic01

We are on a network and 2 out of 3 workstations are protected by Avast, and 2 out of 3 Ciel Gestion Intégrale are not working...

    I just solved the problem:

    go to avast

    in scan go to quarantine

select the ciel file and click on "restore and add to exclusions"

then go to exclusions: search the pc for the ciel program and register it as an exclusion. Validate.

AND there magic magic ciel restarts!

NB: to achieve this, I had to first download the latest update of avast.
