Hello!

I'm having an issue with my Ciel Compta program, I can no longer access it and it's showing ERROR -33 and getting stuck!

I saw on the forum that the question has already been asked, so I copied/pasted the .bin file as mentioned in the post and restarted, but nothing works...

Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Hi,

To resolve error -33 here are the options:

Valid in Management, Accounting below 2006 and in payroll all versions:

1) Reinstall the software with the update

Or

2) Copy the CRUN.BIN file available on the installation CD-ROM to the INSTAL and WGC directories for Management, WK for Accounting, and WPAYE for Payroll.
Once this file is copied, it should be pasted on your hard drive in the location C:\ciel\wgc for Management, C:\ciel\wcpta for Accounting, and C:\CIEL\WPAYE for Payroll.

Finally, restart the concerned software.

For Management and Accounting 2006 and above, this message should not appear.

I would add that you need the unlocking key to go beyond the allowed number of launches after resetting as mentioned above.

Hello, I have a problem with Ciel Paye Evo. When I launch it, an Explorer error message appears a few seconds after launching. The PC freezes, and I have to turn off the PC and restart it.
Do you have a solution?
For your information, I don't have a CRUN.BIN file on the installation CD. I only have Install/WPE/install.exe.
I have tried reinstalling the software, but nothing works. I even formatted the PC.

That's good, I found it. I hadn't placed the crun.bin file correctly because there are actually 2 folders in the ciel compta (WCPTA and WGC), and one of the two didn't have this folder!

CIEL is deliberately causing these "programmed" errors to force customers to renew their maintenance contract: it's shameful!!

Yes, it's true. It's shameful.
Ciel forces customers to take maintenance. It's a real scam!

In fact, this software should be discouraged for everyone. As for me, I am still on version 9 because I refuse the maintenance that Ciel imposes on us at a price that amounts to theft, or at least to forced selling. Switch to EBP!

Hello, I have the same error -33 issue with payroll and not accounting. Can someone tell me the steps to take for this crun.bin file? Thanks (we should start an anti-Ciel association - lol - because they charge a fortune to solve this problem that many users are encountering).

Hello,

I am currently in a BTS CGO program, and as part of my APS, I have assignments to complete on Ciel. During this work, I purchased equipment and also conducted sessions, so I recorded all my entries, my allocations, etc. However, when I try to print the CERFA documents, my amortizations are not filled in; only the column for the value of the amortizations at the end of the financial year is completed.

If anyone knows the steps to take...
