Hello, I just bought a Galaxy Tab 4 10 inch 16 GB, model SMT530, the tablet has Android version 4.2.2.
On many websites, especially on Samsung's site (http://www.samsung.com/fr/consumer/mobile-phones/tablets/galaxy-tab/SM-T530NZWAXEF)
it is written that it has Android 4.4.4 Kit Kat, when I go to the tablet update software or through Samsung Kies, I have no option for a more recent update.
Does anyone on this forum have the same model and has been able to do the update without any issues?
Best regards

Good evening,
the updates may vary depending on the series of devices. It has happened to me. All you can do is wait for an update suitable for your device to be released (sometimes it never happens and they come up with the lame excuse: "it's because your tablet isn't powerful enough for a newer ROM" while the same tablets from a different series will have that update). If you aren't patient, you can flash a ROM at the risk of rendering your tablet useless. I strongly advise against it if your tablet is recent and/or worth a lot.
I hope I've shed some light for you :)
