Here is my problem, my tablet works great, but I can no longer update it.

Hello,
your tablet is too old to support the new versions of Android, which is why you are not being offered any updates. To change the version of Android, you would need to root your tablet, which is not without risks, and you would have no certainty regarding the proper functioning of a newer version of Android.
