no sound with canalsat remote control

Hello,

For a few days now, I can no longer increase or decrease the volume with the canalsat remote control. The numbers are scrolling when I adjust the volume, but it doesn't take effect; only the TV's sound works.

Any ideas to help me?

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0

hello
try this:
go to menu
then 'my tv'
you will arrive on a settings page
just press 'ok', nothing else
then go to 'audio settings'
audio configuration: set to 'manual'
default volume: set to halfway on the bar graph
"enable dolby digital via hdmi": set to 'yes'
the next two settings, set to 'no'
press CONFIRM at the bottom of the page then "exit"
try again and let me know

Hello,

Thank you for your feedback, but I actually don't have those options. In the audio settings, the only choices are Default Volume (with a slider) and Enable Audio Dimming (Yes/No). For your information, it's an old TV, connected via SCART, no HDMI.

In SCART connection, the audio menu is indeed more limited, I just tried it on the cube
Did you perhaps accidentally press the "tv" button on the cube remote?
Can you change the channel on the decoder with the remote?
Have you tried new batteries?
Maybe try another SCART cable if you have one handy (don't buy one just for that)
Also check if the SCART connections on the decoder and TV are properly secured (they might have shifted)

Hello,

yes, I tried new batteries, reconnected the SCARTs on both sides, and we can change the channels with the remote without any issues. I will check with a new SCART cable.
Could it be a mystery??.........
Never mind, we’ll manage the sound with the TV sound in the meantime.

I don't think a new peritel will change anything when you press the decoder's remote control's volume button, what is displayed on the decoder's screen can you push the indicated value up to 23? @+
